Classroom Ready to Read

I love seeing Rainbow Paper make an appearance in the classroom! It is not only a great book for kids to read independently, but it is also great for teachers to read to the class. Teachers can use the book to talk about diversity and bullying with their students in a way that they can understand. I'd love to see how you use it in your classroom! If you are a teacher, please send me pictures or lessons that you have done using Rainbow Paper in your classroom.

Here is one example of how a teacher projected the PDF version of the book to her classroom. She had her students read along as she read the book to

them and stopped periodically to discuss the themes in the book as they went. Let me know how you would use it!

Until next time,

Kim
